1. Definitions

“Cancellation” – Cancellation means you no longer wish to attend the original Workshop or any rescheduled Date or Location of the Workshop.

“Change of Participant Name” – A Change of Participant Name means that the original Participant can no longer attend and you wish to substitute the Participant. In such circumstance, the Workshop Date and Workshop Location remain the same.

“Change of Workshop Location or Workshop Date” – means circumstances where you can no longer attend the original Workshop but wish to confirm your attendance in a future Workshop.

“Edwards HR (Us/We)” – means Edwards Group Enterprises Pty Ltd trading as Edwards HR, ABN 48 631 772 079.

“Participant (You)” – means an individual/s booked to attend a Workshop.

“Workshop” – In these Terms, Workshop is defined as any event run by Edwards HR which may include but not be limited to Classroom-based Training, Seminar or Workshop, Online-based Training, Seminar or Workshop, Conference, or Webinar.

“Workshop Date” – The Date on which the Workshop is set to take place.

“Workshop Location” – The Location, Physical or Virtual, which the Workshop is set to take place in.

2. Coverage

These Terms and Conditions apply to any individual attending Workshop/s offer by Edwards HR which are open to the public. They do not apply to Workshop/s which are designed, developed and/or facilitated specifically for our clients.

3. Before Booking

Before booking Workshop/s offered by Edwards HR, please carefully review these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change, and it is your responsibility to stay informed about any updates.

By booking a Workshop, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, and agree to be bound by them.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, and the most current version will always be available on our website at

4. Payment

Prices listed for each Workshop is in AU$ and includes Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Payment is required upon booking online unless you have an approved credit account with Edwards HR. If you wish to open a credit account, please contact us prior to booking online.

Edwards HR  invoice payment terms for Workshops are 7 days from date of issue or 5 days from the Workshop Date, whichever is earlier.  

Edwards HR will not confirm a Workshop booking or allow attendance at a Workshop until full payment is received.

For bookings made within 3 business days of the Workshop Date, payment must be made on the day of booking, with a remittance and bank statement slip submitted to confirm the booking.

Bookings are generally non-refundable.

5. Promotional Offers/Discounts

Edwards HR may from time to time provide promotional offers or discounts on our Workshop prices.

Any promotional offers are exclusive and non-transferable. Any promotional offers are standalone and cannot be used in conjunction with another offer.

6. Code of Conduct (Training Workshops)

When attending Workshops, Participants must:

  • Agree to comply with the required health and safety processes and protocols in place at the Workshop Location, including any laws or government restrictions;
  • Not attend a Workshop in-person if you have symptoms of any illness such as a high temperature, dry cough, sore throat or runny nose;
  • Behave in a professional and respectful manner. Note that Edwards HR reserves the right to prohibit entry or require the immediate exit of any Participant attending a Workshop at any Workshop Location. Such instructions are issued at the sole discretion of Edwards HR, based upon an assessment of the conduct displayed;
  • Acknowledge that cameras, audio, and video recorders are permitted at any Workshop and must not be used to record Workshops held virtually (online) without permission from Edwards HR and the other Participants in attendance.

7. Intellectual Property

Edwards HR and/or some of our Facilitators may agree to share content or recordings (where available) with registered Participants. This content is not intended for wider distribution.

Sharing, broadcasting and/or copying of this content is not permitted according to Australia’s intellectual property laws.

Please be respectful of such intellectual property so that we can continue to offer similar content in the future. 

8. Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to prior to the Workshop Date.

Subject to any rights you may have under law:

  • Cancellations must be requested at least 14 days before the Workshop Date;
  • Cancellations are considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Edwards HR. In certain cases, that may result in no refund being payable where you make a cancellation request;
  • Any costs incurred by Edwards HR in connection with the registrant’s cancellation, including third party costs and administrative fees, will be deducted from any refund provided.
  • Note that the minimum administration fee associated with a cancellation is $350 plus GST.

No shows to any Workshop are deemed as cancellations. As such, Edwards HR reserves the right to withhold any Workshop information and resources that might otherwise have been available.

9. Change of Workshop Location, Workshop Date or Participant Name

Requests to transfer to another Workshop Date or Workshop Location, or substitute the Participant Name, must be made in writing to at least 3 business days prior to the Workshop Date and are subject to availability.

Where approved, only one Change of Workshop Location, Workshop Date or Participant Name is permitted per booking.

10. If Edwards HR Changes /Cancels a Workshop

On rare occasions, we may need to cancel, modify, reschedule, or postpone our Workshops due to unforeseen circumstances or Force Majeure events that impact Edwards HR, our Facilitators or other relevant factors.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify Participants of such events, and any associated cancellations, modifications, rescheduling, or postponements by sending an email to the email address provided to us in the online Booking. In this case, you may request a full refund for the impacted Workshop/s or join us for a modified or rescheduled Workshop. In these circumstances, not administration fees apply. 

Please note that we are not responsible for any costs, penalties, or losses resulting from Workshop cancellations, modifications, rescheduling or postponements under any circumstances.
